Second Lifers and adult entertainment – what a tenuous relationship indeed. People love to harass the active participants (myself included), fashionistas snub their noses at those residents who openly advertise their participation. But like it or not its a huge part of our economy. As many of you that have followed me over the last year know, I openly talk about my participation in the industry early in SL. And today CNN published an article hailing pornographers as one of the industry leaders in technology in general!
It leads me to ask why such well developed clubs as GOL’s Elements left the biz so to speak. Do they believe they are above it? Do they think it makes them more legitimate? I love to make fun of GOL and it’s cheesy nightclub feel and its air of seemingly being an initiation site for some of my electronic communities better DJ’s. Same thing with Bad Girls. But without the dancers/escorts, for me, GOL just became a well built Dance Island with nothing really making it stand out. Why do strip clubs need to look like crap with bad textures and less than magnificent builds – they have the potential to pull HUGE TRAFFIC. So to those of you out there in the “industry”, I would love to know about your clubs and if really it is “well built” leave me a SLurl and I will come visit. Or better yet, why not build one? That’s all I got for now…..Hugs!
It started with the wings and ended with the dress. Tomoto one of the creators currently featured at the Fantasy Faire 2010 is one of Lizzie’s fave stores in all of SL. And when she discovered their install at she knew it HAD to be blogged, YAY! And combined with the her “Woodland Fairy” Wings from 7 Selections her look was complete.

Hello all, I am blogging to you from Insilico as my part of the coverage for Fantasy Faire 2010! Gantz Nishi is one of the many creators you can find on the sim dedicated to all that is sci fi aptly named Sector Sci Fi! The Faire, covering nine sims in total, offers an amazing cross section of fantasy life in SL. Along with Sector Sci Fi, you can also find sims dedicated to Faes, Elves, Nekos and Darker realms, Oh My, LOL. For full a list of sims check out the Fantasy Faire Website! In the meantime, I am enjoying my day as Drossel, woot woot!
I have a lovely Hetero Life Partner, Miyoko Magic. She is also a pose maker, Pose Fair 2010 participant and shape maker extraordinaire. Friday night I said to Miyoko “I want to be a Fae.” So she led me on a magical journey of dress up and posing that could only happen in Second Life! It all began with Boaz Cortes of Simply Fae offering me her Relay for Life creation for Fantasy Faire 2010 starting this Monday and ended in the forever lovely Medieval RP sim of Avilion. I have decided for Lizzie, being a Fae, helps me escape from all the everyday realities for just a wee bit!
